Hey everyone hope you had a good week and a great weekend. Last week not much happened. It was Valentines day Thursday and I got some chocolate =D but that was pretty much it. Friday it was ski club and it was great even though it started to rain the last 1,5 hours. So at the end of the night everyone was soaking wet and going on a bus ride and everyones clothes and gear being soaking wet is a good way to make sure that everything gets cold and wet, its a good thing that the company on the bus rides up and down couldn't be more awesome!

Saturday I slept in and when I finally got out of my sweatpants
Yesterday we went to Washington DC and went to see the White house, American history museum and Air and Space museum. So we walked around the mall looking at the museums and so and then we went to the post office to take the elevator up to the tower to get a 360 degrees view of Washington. It was a fun day even though it was freezing cold and windy.

Today we are going to King of Prussia which is a big shopping mall about 1 hour drive away from here. So that is going to be great.

 

Hope everyone had a good weekend. Here not much happened ski club was canceled Friday due to bad weather. Saturday we had a stay in sweats the entire day, did some laundry and went up to Ingies to watch Bourne Identity which is a movie I love I also took some pictures of Scarlett playing in the snow. Today I talked with friends and family in Sweden and congrats to my sister Louise for placing second good job sis, I am so proud of you!!

Last Friday skiing wasn't to bad even though it was a warm week and we had flooding on Thursday, just a bit of clear spots in one our 2 slopes. And I really hope for good weather Friday so we can go skiing. We went to the last Basketball game for this season on Tuesday and we also went to McDonalds twice that day(America).

Had my first test in American Government and I had my first presentation in History through Cinema on the movie 300. This week we watched Gladiator and we have a presentation on that. The presentations are movies we make in iMovie where we either record our film what we want to put in the movie, so last week me and my partner Vanessa were reporters that covered the battle of Thermopylae between Sparta and Persia. This week we are creating kind of a what is a gladiator. So everyone does the same thing but in different ways and then we show them to the whole class. SO last week the class watched me being a reporter and yeah it is kind of awkwardish but everyone does it which makes it better.

In Digital Photography we are currently learning all the settings and what all the little things on the camera means and when we want to use what. So we been working with creative modes, shutter speed, aperture and ISO sensitivity. So now I know how to use my camera better :D.

Now I am watching Revenge and then I am of to bed.

Yes it was raining a lot yesterday night and this morning so we had a 2 hour delay so we started school 9.25 instead of 7.25, always nice with a surprise sleep in on a Thursday. School delayed because of rain, ladies and gentlemen welcome to America x). That was not the only thing that happened before school started today, Karolina and I managed to miss the bus, the only day no one was home so we almost panicked because we didn't know how to get to school but Alex saved us and gave us a ride so we got to school. :D

Except for the start of the day it was a calm day, not much is going on right now. We had a fire drill to and according to our principal we would have probably died because we weren't fast enough so ha said we would have to work on that. The new classes are fun my favorites are History through cinema were we watch movies and then make reports on what happened. We have just finished watching 300, a movie about the battle of Thermopylae and the Persian army vs 300 spartan soldiers. A good movie that I recommend you to watch. So me and Vanessa just finished our project were we are reporters from the war zone and reporting what is going on.

My other favorite class is digital photography where we are taking pictures, learning how to use photoshop and other photo related stuff. Environmental Science is okay but me and science has never been a good combo. American government is a class I could skip but I have to have it, the class itself would probably not be to bad, but I am not a big fan of the teacher. American life is sort of fun the teacher is really good so thats another okay class.

Tomorrow is Friday, finally and hopefully we have ski club. It has been a really warm week around 10 degrees or more so we hope that tomorrow will be cold so we can go skiing.
